Lost souls to spare

Another residential school tragedy was unearthed in Saskatchewan recently. I am going on record as saying that I despise the Catholic Church for its subhuman treatment of Indigenous people. How many priests and nuns (who oversaw these hellholes) are being tortured in Hell's nastiest precincts right now? All of them, I dearly hope. Anyway, I'm doing all right. The school year is just about done and it's been about a month since I last posted so here we go.

I had my first dose of awesome (Pfizer) in May and I got my second dose (Moderna) yesterday. So my arm hurts again but I have not had any other effects thus far. Two weeks from now, I will apply for my vaccination card. Then I can waltz around hugging people and eating in restaurants again! Mom had her second dose a couple of days ago. She can't wait until she can apply for her card and eat in restaurants and do most of the great life stuff we have not been able to do for some time. Vaccination hath its privileges.

I've been playing TS3 but lately I've been drawn to my phone. My new addiction is 'Legends of Idleon'. Free idle game of slaughter and pop culture references. There's a great wiki if you want to have a look at it. Grinding is all AFK so one does not waste time. I like 'Clicker Heroes' and wanted something like that. I also spend more time than I should on paint-by-number apps for my phone. Don't worry. I'll get back to simming soon enough. July 1 I should have lots of simming done. I have some other plans for the summer as well. Maybe I'll actually carry said plans out.

No pics for today. I just wanted to bring the two or three people who follow this mess of a blog up to speed. Thanks for having a look, take care of each other and stay safe. The numbers are going down. We'll get through this eventually.

215 is just the tip of the iceberg

The last residential school closed in 1996. How many more buried children will surface? 215 souls have found their way to the Creator and we are all left to mourn. Nothing less than eternal damnation beset the empty-headed racist scum who ran those schools and ruined generations of indigenous people. That is my statement for the day.

         Now for something cheerier.

We are remaining in remote learning status for the rest of the month. Sad but necessary. This is the second year that we are remote. I hope September improves for all of us.
